I'm reminded of my grandfather's little orchard. We were allowed to eat the apples on the ground.

I love this. The way an apple can taste so great even it if has a bump on it.

Things don't have to be perfect (or long) to be good.

Glorious wordplay that reads very well aloud. It rolls around the tongue, tantalising as a piece of apple. So good.

'wabi sabi'. I had to Google it and glad I did. Then realised that is how I see people. Perfect Imperfection makes me smile in solidarity! So neat and profound!

Love the last line! I'm all wabi sabi myself...I'm imperfect and getting more so minute by minute! If that is beautiful, then baby bring it on!!!

The ground in the orchard is full of fallen leaves and apples sooner than expected. Indeed a mixture of ready and rough.
