"Face with mouth of O" made me smile!
I love it. It made me think of my 3 year old who typically has a very round face with a "mouth of O"
wow i loved it!
Great mystery in this.
Intriguing word pictures ask more questions than they answer... 'one-eyed raven flaps away'. Deformed evil leaving the scene?
Love the one-eyed raven....nice...bkm
Those little mischief makers are everywhere, and I love them! Good one!
Ah, my little one's mouth is always in an O.
What a sweet, vivid and engaging poem! Big fan of "one-eyed raven flaps away" :D
Ooooo... very clever... Loved this!
the mouth of O is lovely.
Very brief, but very effective, like the crow touch,Elizabeth
Perfect from the bread crumbs to the raven flapping away...
Full of charm Magpie, reminds me of the story of Hansel and Gretel.
one-eyed raven?A deft touch to make it work beautifully.
Love the mouth of O echoed in the one eyed raven - such rich images -
The wonder of it all... Wonderful piece.
Wonderfully written! =)
A flavour of Hansel and Gretel caught in a short form...
To me this had an element of mystery.... what will happen next????
A lovely piece of writing. :-)
Beautiful and fairy tale like, just as the photo is...Love it! My Magpie Tale for this week...
Absolutely beautiful. One moment in time captured for us to love.Thank you so much for visiting my blog and commenting on my first magpie. You made my day!
one eyed raven...took a chilling turn there...nicely played magpie!
The haiku uses words in such a way that this particular evil atmosphere has an extra twist! The word "cackle" gives the initial clue! Then then the "o" becomes a possible silent scream? Fantastic Magpie!
Nice. I can see the kid peeking out the window. I wonder about that one-eyed raven, though.
one eyed raven! This is great!
Wonderful. Such a short piece to create a perfect mood to go with Willow's picture!
I liked the raven. It gives me something to chew on. a littel menace at the end.
this is really cool. I have not tried my hand at Tanka yet but it looks like fun!I loved your last line about the ravens very fitting
Liked the mouth of O.. sweet little devils ..... beautiful poem
Nice and visual, but still mysterious . . . and I especially liked the title.
what did that small face with a mouth of O see? Or should I ask, what did the one-eyed raven see? The abduction of Hansel and Gretel? You've created marvellous mystery with this tableau TW.
Intriguing scene!
