eastern SoDak so far has been spared this fate. But the month's still early. Good stuff.
Well phrased! :)
Well done! I know about those April blizzards -- had a few of them here, too, in years past. Spring is on its way! :)
Blizzards, April or otherwise, are never a danger where I live, but April cold snaps have ruined my father's apricots for the past three years. I'm so hoping for apricots when go visit this year, so I'll pretend your poem is for someone else. :-)
April is the only month that can range from polar to tropical - in UK at least.
Phew, those April blizards are killing me, nicely thought through!aka Andy Sewina
loved the poem but no blizzards please :) I'm enjoying the sun right now!
I love this weather alert! Thank you for your visit and kind comments!
What challenging words to work with.blizzards...i like the ice cream kind better...

Nice photo and poem.
Great verse!waves of oceans in my glass
Love how the poem in its very structure becomes a "flash back cycle", reflecting the images in the poem!
lovely thought woven in beautiful words...liked it...
A Naisaiku...wow...:))A difficult form of poetry!Wish I could write one someday...:))
How Old Man Winter can be so reluctant to let go...Great work, captures the clash of seasons well!
it's the simpliest of things one enjoys the most... you make that form seem so easy!!! repairable repartee
