Measured

Magpie Tales offers an image for prompt. It can be viewed at the site by clicking on the link.

Measured

echoes of time
vintage spirits
and wounded trees

a breath of prayer
badgers the shabbiness
of this distant home

where fragile bones
on bending knees
offered the kiss of life

caged by glass
songs rise from ashes
echo that other time

Dear Tumblewords: How I love your evocative Fractal poetry. I want to try Fractalizing! I will try! Next Magpie! Measured like distant echoes from long past yet still reverberating eons of time. Amazing! Thank-you!!!

How beautiful. I took me a minute or two to move away from the richness of the first stanza. I look forward to exploring your blog.
