For fun, this NaiSaiKu...
the first frantic lurch
from the cafeteria door
he breathed in deeply
the dreaded spinach odor
not so deep he breathed
from the cafeteria door
second frantic lurch

This is a very unhappy childhood memory for me... School Canteen Blues.
Good NaiSaiKu, though.
Clever, very clever. (I always kinda liked that smell...)
Sometimes you just have to get away :-)
Enjoyed this.
I still every once in a while, with no cafeteria reference, smell that odor.
never thought it would work its way into art.
Loved the fractal image.
We didn't have school cafeteria's when I went to school. Kind of glad now!
Loved the image as well, great job!
Huh. I rather like spinach, as long as it's not from a can. :-)
"dreaded spinach odor" :)
that is true; no matter how good it is, it does seem to hv that odor, eh?:)
Great great NaiSaiKu!
Spinach, an acquired taste. I remember loathing spinach as a kid. This poem captures the school cafe memory clearly. Fun poem!
Yeah, this is fun! Love the fractal... what a lurch!!
Many thanks for posting to the NaiSaiku Challenge?
