Haiku for OSI

One Single Impression: Prompt 97: Wings  Thanks to Sherri of Sweetest in the Gale for this week's prompt

the black wing
sweeps across the sky
pilfers light

wings of wind
brushed away valleys
she once knew

The image is a painting created in Adobe Photoshop Elements using a Bamboo Fun Tablet.

wings of wind - it surely feels that way at times. These are very stirring and the image haunting.

The wing of darkness and the wing of wind perform some strange magic that swiftly, deftly transforms the landscape--and memory. These are marvelous.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Gothic. Spectacular with a touch of the ominous. 'Pilfering the light' is a fantastic image.

Very nice, Sue. I am picturing a very bad dust storm like we would have in El Paso a few times a year.

Only we called ours 'sandstorms' because we were pretty sandy out there. Necomers said they liked the beach but it was so far away from the sea.

Wings of darkness do take the light. But the light is still there if we can get above the darkness. Nicely done.
