Wind chimes in the copse can be scary if you don't know how they got there! I wouldn't go in! I like your Bamboo Fun drawing a lot. .. Sue, I apologize for not making it here last week. Thank you for your visit to mine. No excuse really except with the cold, busy stuff, and doing both this and OSI I stretched myself too thin. I did like those closets with their skeletons and rattling bones! Very imaginative, I could not have thought of this. I will remember to put bones in mine sometimes. Please don't be offended because I copied you, I will be. ..
well, thanks for sending me to the dictionary to look up the word copse....i love learning new words! great imagery and sound .....and liking the picture too.
Beautiful poem. I can almost see the sun glinting off the chimes through the trees. At first, I thought that image was watercolor. It's just gorgeous. Thank you.
When I read copse I often think corpse. Odd I know but that is it. Hearing a chime in the copse would see a little surreal. Maybe from the garden beyond. I would love to look trough the copse to see the chimes. Loved this haiku. It made me think of all sorts of things.

Well Sue, it seems I am the first to comment on your lovely haiga. Such beautiful images and flow of words.
As always, well done my friend.

Super image; chimes remind me of flickering lights...
each line leads into the next
beautifully
This is just so lovely
Yes, music to my ears, and eyes!
Beautiful artwork, Sue.
So few words - so evocative.
Kool! The words work so well on the picture too! And 'flickering' is a great word to choose.

there's a loneliness in these words or perhaps it's just me
A lovely piece of art with words! Or words with art? Anyway, great work!
