double-down darkness
patronizes tight lipped moon
weakens harbor tide
saltwater hatchlings scratch sand
harbor tide weakens
patronizing tight lipped moon
double-down darkness
NaisaiKu and CYCLIKU! are informative links for this particular poetry form but I use poetic license and alter the rules to suit me and, hopefully, you!
My poetry books North of Summer and South of Winter are currently available at Amazon and, as always, available from my LuluBookstore in print or as download.

Love it, absolutely. Just a fresh catch of a poem.
(thanks for the well-wishes. It's been a day...)
The Path
I loved the pattern in this. Yes it did suit me.

Suits me too. Found myself on a beach, hearing scratching sounds in the dark, listenin' to that weak tide.
Suits me just fine, too! lol You writing invoked great imagery in my mind. Nice work
Lovely cycliku!
Lovely, lovely
"tight lipped moon" wow !!! :)
You have the most graceful images and aesthetically pleasing word flow. Week in and week out. What I love most about this is the hugeness of the tide and moon, surrounding the tiny little scratches of the hatchlings. Little life begins in the vast universe, and it has its place, and it understands its place, even in the darkness. Simply wonderful.
Great words, and the pic is intriguing.
It flows as if I'm on the beach. The words are wonderful
I loved this form!
patronising darkness weakens me
The form emulates the tide. I envision sea turtles making a go from their nests!
you sure did suit me! beautiful sue!
wish I was doubling down my tan at the beach! xo
Love it, and the picture! Now I want to go to the beach.
i love the beach and what you can find there. it's especially nice to walk along beachside at night. great poem.
WonderfulWords, This really speaks to me!
Sorry I wasn't around last week, to read this.
Thanks for posting to The NaiSaiKu Challenge? It's always a pleasure to read your work.

Thanks for dropping by Small Reflections earlier this week. I'm finally getting around to returning visits ... and now that I've landed on your blog I'm reminded how much I enjoy your poetry and fractals. NaisaiKu and CycliKu are new forms to me ... but certainly intriguing. I've clicked over to check out the links you provided and just possibly will 'play' with possibilities soon. I also notice the theme for OSI is 'window' ... so perhaps I'll multi-task and do OSI with Window Views this week??? (or not). Your 'Midnight' fractal and poem are wonderful and remembrances of Pac-Man float in my consciousness as I type this. Hope all's well with you and yours ... and it's lovely to check in this morning ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
