Snow, cold and gray linger. Cabin fever settled in as a chronic condition. Trying to remember spring, warm and green gets more difficult. When it finally bursts, it will seem like a new season rather than a returning one, I think.
Haiku Friday offers Memories as the prompt.

Yeah, fuzzy is the perfect word to describe the first greenery coming back out, kinda like a 5 0'cock green shadow on the earth.
LOL! I didn't realize there was a theme this week. I just wrote and went to link up. Guess next week I will pay closer attention.
Great haiku!
Oops ... there was a THEME??? Yikes!
I love your beautiful fuzzy spring image ... and understand your feelings. Well put!
Fuzzy. Nice picture and words.
I get so very antsy this time of year EVERY year. There are hints around, though. Tho ice glazed the pond, Mr. and Mrs. Bluebird were busy staking their territory. SO very good to see!
I know just what you mean, but spring is definitely arriving here now....
Excellent Haiku Friday post! Thank you for posting at my place! :)
Dear Sue,
You have had much cold and snow...
I laughed at "new season" it does seem like a very long time ago the world was green. Perhpas in a dofferent lifetime!
Stay warm.
