Spring in Winter Haiku

winter morning light
casting sparkles on deep snow
promises of spring

dripping icicles
slender stalactite rainbows
giving way to spring

Really lovely.
Thanks a lot Sue.

Like the images. But trying saying out loud "icicles slender stalactite" needs concentration!
Lovely!
Glad I found you!
I can't say it!
Sue, these are lovely.
This week, I noticed how much brighter it is. It may be wishful thinking, but I do believe we have turned the corner toward spring.
Mornin', I enjoyed those. Also liked the previous one Shoreline Quest.
Gorgeous! So much ice everywhere it seems, but it is pretty and can be inspiring, too.
Hits home here (Addison, [North] Texas): ice day on Wednesday, spring day on Friday.
nice ...
a small tag for you : http://creatingnewblog.blogspot.com/2009/01/jus-ques.html
The first one is delightful
Loved your first haiku especially! Lovely words and so true...
Beautiful, but today was the first day it was actually kind of cold here in Winter Park, Fl. :P A cold front hit. My brother had a 105 fever. :(
the snow is melting... yay.... i can hear the sounds of birds chirping freely.. i cannot wait, i cannot wait, i cannot wait... a beautiful cycle of seasons in a moment of "..winter morning light.." ... thank you...
Wonderful images in the verses!
