Autumn is my favorite time of the year, and your Haikus display the beauty and feel of the season. I really like the first one.

Your haikus catch the sense of this changing season, the mix of sun and shadow. My favorite (as a quilter), "patchwork grays requilt a summer sky. Lovely.

I sense your dismay at the passing of summer but the beauty of Fall shines through. These are very very lovely.

The idea of requilting the sky is very beautiful. I just love the word. Thanks.

I like the second haiku, especially the line "requilt a summer sky" - that's so beautiful

Autumn is also my favorite season and the photo and the haiku work together beautifully. You captured the moments in the poems.

Hi TW, beautiful words you were using here. I know every one, except requilting, but it takes your artistic skill to use them together in this way. Thank you.

I liked them all, but the first one gave an excellent slant, as if summer is broken.

I love the second and third ones, Sue. I was out taking fall sky photos this morning, thinking the same thing.

Like others here, I begin a month long yawn about now--ready for the hibernation about to begin...this year I'm determined to spend more time napping and dreaming...

Thanks for this poem and the image was spectacular!

Thanks for stopping by my post on this prompt.
