Bird Flu


Hiller buried under down
shivers, shakes and sweats
vexed by sounds
soaring through warm air

swimming in his pool
filter death by feathers
it refused to let him be
no escaping those eyeballs

spying, stalking, haunting
a duck forever watching
anatidaephobia was his

Lovely piece! And what a wonderful new word I've just learned!

I also found an unusual word the other day! It's Canapygean and it's an adjective used to describe someone with perfectly formed buttocks!
