All three of these are so wonderful. So visual, and evocative. I can just see them, and feel them in my heart.
A bevy of beauties; I love 'zesty smile' and 'lynx lithe'.
These are excellent, all three really convey character!
They are so true !
:)
wonderful! all three of them put a smile in my heart.
I love how you did one for each grandparent...
grandpa's always had those fuzzy ears, didn't they?!
:)
All 3 are lovely...made me smile!
Hi Sue! I love the new layout for your blog -- it looks great. And each of your haiku is a gem -- I especially love "fuzzy tufted ears"! And your watercolor is so pretty.
:)
Lovely watercolor and the Haiku so visual! hugs NG
After returning, I think my favorite is the last - reminds me of Granny who sucessfully managed a farmhouse of 10 children, her husband, and later, her mother. But she has never been so busy that she doesn't spread sweetness.
Fuzzy ears and Fuzzy hair...a lot like Bozo. You little Finkbeiner! Makes me grin =)
Wow! These are fantastic and so real. You really brought the human touch into these with such great imagery. Thanks!
These are lovely. I instantly thought of my grandmother. The middle one made me smile.
these are all full of honor...it's such a treat to see the light shining on our grandparents..."eyes that knew it all" is a phrase full of telling.
I don't think I could possibly choose among them. They are all just spot on. I smile at them. "Fuzzy tufted ears" and "honey dispenser" descriptions are fabulous.
