i like poetry that ties in the skies--but I missed the lunar eclipse the other morning :(
Oh beautiful - the words, and the image. This is a much better photo than any of the 20-odd ones I took - none of them captured the event nearly as well as yours does. Well done!
This is the second reference I've seen to a remarkable red eclipse. I'm very sorry I missed it but happy to see it memorialized here.
Hi Sue! Wonderful, mysterious photo -- it evokes so many feelings. Your poem is beautiful -- the colors "blood red" and "bruise-black sky" are primal and visceral. Lovely!
:)
thanks for ur visit
I love the moon and its colors
I didn't see the eclipse, but your photo captures it beautifully, as do your words. :~)
wonderful movement in both image and text.
I have stolen a glimpse of the eclipse without seeing it in person. Thank you for sharing such a strong piece.

I really like the contrast between blood-red and bruise-blue in the living night sky.
