Haiku: One Deep Breath
Ahhh..you areRefreshment fromhot dry winds.Sherry
there's definitely something about that first one, very haunting somehow. Lavender is one of my favourite scents.
Lavender is the best of scents. Love the picture.
i love your haiku, especially the first one.
And so the days and seasons pass. Nicely done.
Just beautiful...I especially loved the second one. :~)
How simple and perfectly beautiful...
I especially love the first haiku -- I can see someone sitting alone on an old porch looking out at the horizon, maybe an old dog lying next to him or her. And the second haiku brings in gentle scents of lavender. Really nice, Sue!:)
Very nice nostalgic feel to both haiku. Well done.
I really like both of these, but especially the first.
The first one took my breath away. Lovely.
Nice peaceful haikus, very serene.
lavender evenings, lovely sense/scents.
intriguing
old dreams rewritten...that's truly poetic...so evocative
Sue, I find the second calming. The first, I agree with Crafty Green Poet, is was haunting, my favorite. The colors in your picture are wonderful.
