Tanka for Big Tent Poetry

one jar of color
sea glass and slight shells cuddle
her kaleidoscope
window to another world
stirs and spreads in the tumbler

Very interesting...just enough juxtaposition of images to confuse me. My brain is straining to separate the images, but no can do! It's like a mystery, even though you are giving clues in the tanka. Vb

Lovely visual
I like when so much can be said with so little.

*thank you for the visit*

"window to another world" through the eyes of the artist. Lovely, Susan.

Just enough words. Great line creation. Loved the aliteration and the visual. Mature voice. Great art and skill.

It makes me curious, and I agree there's a mystery in this...I wonder what she's thinking...

I have to agree, mysterious, yet with a light sense of play, a definite reflection of the image. Want mostly to say, How'd you do that?

A very pleasing verbalisation of the image.

This is absolutely gorgeous. Both the tanka & image.
