Y for ABC Wednesday

ABC Wednesday prompts the letter Y. Thank you!

!

Yes!terday felt a lot like Christmas. Imagine. This tiny green pear tomato has taken hold of my top down plant. Until I downloaded the second photo, I didn't realize there might be another one as well. Can you see it? Imagine. I am so excited. Dreaming of the day I can walk outside, pick a few naturally ripe tomatoes, warm from the sun, the juice and seeds filled with the taste of summer. Tomorrow, when I settle down from all the excitement, I'll check to see if there are peppers about to pop on the upper level.

Maybe, too, I'll post pictures of strawberry pots which are loaded with ripe fruit.

Ah, I love summertime and the daughters/son-in-law who gifted me these lovely growing presents.

Happy to see your top down tomatoes are doing well. Nothing like home grown maters...

What an excellent idea, - you can just pop one of those luscious tomatoes into your mouth as you pass by...

I love your description of the tomatoes-to-be...."filled with the taste of summer".

I look forward to seeing photos of bunches of red tomatoes! And I'd like to see the strawberry plant!

Ah, home grown fresh food. If only I wasn't the world's worst gardener.

Wonderful! I've always wanted to try growing tomatoes in hanging baskets like that !

Tasty indeed!
I wish the deer would leave my garden alone. They feast in the middle of the night!
Happy Y!
Off to catch some zzz's!

Yes, I do see it. Wow, you should have a very nice crop in the summer.

this is the first year i have started to see fruit on my tomato plants before august.. so i am as thrilled as you are knowing i might actually get a tomato or two out of the garden this year instead of having to allow them all to go to compost because the frost gets them before i do!!!!
