Great words on the inner experiences - its fleetingness and all.

Sue, this is sad.
It reminds me of an old Hank Williams song, YOUR CHEATING HEART

"...YOU'LL CRY AND CRY AND TRY TO SLEEP
BUT SLEEP WON'T COME THE WHOLE NIGHT THROUGH.."

where sleep is an alternative for when our inner voice fails us. Here sleep as an escape also failed.

These were wonderful...I especially connected with the second one with its "hide and seek". Beautiful image, too!

Your inner voice won't talk, mine won't shut up, I will trade you.

Love your colors.

I'm constantly in battle with my inner voice. I think your first haiku resonates with me best. Well verbalized. Have a great day.

Both experiences are familiar and delicately descriabed. I especially like the hide and seek voice waiting to be found.

I admire so your ability to come up with words so rich and yet grounded in simplicity.
