Totally Optional Prompts post: Let's write about exercise this week.
Orphaned Thoughts
ghosts of threat
...promise carrots and
wield small sticks
treadmill hugs the wall
books lean against weights
...flexible rubber tubing
on scattered tables
pleads for a stretch
she expects to work out
...doesn't know for sure
when dust buried
thoughts of good intent
Watercolor by Sue.

You've done a work out on the mind nicely here.
I never get as far as even THINKING about it!
Sounds like my shed, 'cos that's where my exercise stuff has been relegated to!
Your watercolor is lovely, as is your poem. I bet this tale is quite quite common! ;-)
Yours are always the best!
This is great Sue! And great minds do think alike (my post and yours re: exercise etc...) You've made my day.
Hugs, G
i never even bothered to buy the props!!!! love this one.....
Sue, I know that I am late but wanted to tell you your poem as always is outstanding. Also I just love your water color. You are so gifted.
love, Melanie
How many calories can we burn, just planning to exercise?
Doesn't that count for something?
;-)
By the way, I just gave you an award - check it out here:
