i like your parallel with music and nature in your second piece!!
Great takes on water - as always.
"Six degrees of water" - what a wonderful line.
'Lichen spreads' 'Swollen air', Simple and sweet, Love it.
Sue, these are all perfect. That second one resonates with me... *smile* Number three is happnening right now!
Many waterfalls have I communed with and come away renewed.
Beautiful image and I like the musical one too. I also enjoy communing with waterfalls.
Each piece is lovely. Together they evoke a gentle awakening. Isn't it wonderful when the swollen skies open?!!

i paused on the second...such a gentle thought of a babbling brook came to mind...
but the third! wow!! my son is a meteorologist-in-the-making & i live those words, especially this time of year. wonderful!!!
Loved them all...especially the third one. The "swollen air" is "shedding rain" here tonight--April showers, I guess.
I love the picture, too. It is a perfect complement to the verses. Another great post.
lovely... a painting bob ross would smile at....
you create magic with least words ;)
The spring, the rain and the fresh thoughts that you inspire...Great work.
Thanks for stopping by at my page and leaving your views..Appreciate that.
Such talent- love the poems- especially the 2nd one and the image- beautiful!
The imagery of the second poem is very well done. I can see the ripples. Such an interesting take on it.
A gorgeous waterfall. These images make me think of the fulness, the now is the time, of spring.
swollen air... I have seen far too much swollen air in the last two weeks! A wonderful way to decribe clouds. What a lovely watercolor, too!
"Six degrees of water" - a wonderful line for sure ..
What Zoya said :-). It IS a wonderful line!
lovely painting.
Your first poem tells of my world today.
'swollen air' is a wonderful description.
What really sings in these haiku is the vitality of the water...these are lovely and the watercolor is gorgeous too.
Thank you!!
