I don't know how you make them, but that fractal is perfect for this post.
Two great last lines, can't decide which I like better!
I like both of these, but especially the first one, and the first line! Really good image!
stitching sky lines - love that! it's always amazing how so few words can create so much thought
Perfect - especially the first. And the picture is stunning.
Oh, I love the sounds in your words: "Pleiades needle" "hoodoos"...and the play on the word "cosmos" is delightful!
I'm going to follow your log! ;)
I'll take the first one, thank you. Just about every year I spend several hours watching for the Pleiades display and always have been disappointed. One or two falling stars is all I ever find.
Stardust is a nice song as for the reading of the words. I guess I was riding motorcycles and listening to rock music when F.S. did his singing as I don't remember any by him ever.
..
Sue, that fractal is wonderful! It is -- what does the song say: Golden. A garden of cosmos... I really like the double meaning;if you look up through the flowers then it's a star spangled sky at that angle too. Great verse and they made me smile.
I especially love, "star stangled sky" perfect! Well done Sue.
Hugs, G
I like both. They kind of go hand in hand. The first line of the first is wonderful!
playing for pleasing the moon
I read your poetry and say "yeah" and then struggle because that seems to be such an inadequate comment. But there it is. So all I can say is Thank You. I am speechless otherwise.
I love both of them too.
The first is the one I would choose if I had to, but both are tremendous - as is the image.
These are great, especially the 'hoodoos'....its such a long word when held on the tongue!
I like the "garden of cosmos"! I also like how your poems are so compact but they reflect such a wide area.
The fractal image is perfect for the prompt. Your haiku of stitching skylines is very nice.
thank you for introducing me to the term "hoodoos" -- what a great image! Your second poem reminds me of a painting I did thirty years ago called "the sun and the cosmos."
..fantastic..
..a very happy new year!..
I do love the way your weave your poetic words with your beautiful fractals ... and you know how I love Haiku ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
loved the second one :) interersting use of the prompt !!
I love the imagery... fence free garden of cosmos... conjures up images of vast openness with stars for flowers. Thanks for some new words too! :) Happy New Year!
Tumblewords--
you always make shiny jewels out of gravel when you put them in your tumbler...
these are great! I too loved the fence free line...'defenses down...the stars got out'!
Happy new year--many thanks for the loveliness you bring to the world!
