Hey Sue, you are right on with your poems. I think global warming is causing all of this ice. Give me snow to shovel any day.

Good ones - distractions, and some seeming cnotradictions, too!
You obviously hit it on the head with your middle verse -- how easily people are distracted from the deadly reality of global warming by a few pretty snowflakes. So many who cannot tell the difference between 'weather' and 'climate' or between local and global.

These are multi-layered; at least for me. The first could be social, media commentary, the second an environmental statement we all need to remember, and...

I'm with you on your point about some being far more fun than others. I love the photo and the whimsy.
Many think of global warming as warming, they should change the name. Wonderful haiku.

Global warming is right on! Our temperature swings will be greater and greater with the hot outweiging the cold.
Forget that though, the picture in pieces is the best for me. (I don't do jigsaw puzzles, they keep me from blogging.)
