Bone, the moderator for 3 Word Wednesday says: Each week, I post some words. People write things using the words. Then they comment here. And, indeed, that's what happens. This week, the words are Remember, Theatre, Funny. Come play along!

Nicely done. I love the last one, it works great. (Although I've never gotten the Charlie Chaplin thing - I guess you had to be there).
Loved the last one. So many people don't really know about the pure genius of timing and expression nowadays.
Modern actors could learn a lot from them.
i watch a lot of old silent black and whites,, and a lot of them have been redone to include modern scores,, and i must say in many an instance the music overwhelms the movie... i wonder what it would have been like to view them in a theater with nothing but an old upright piano.....
I really liked the first haiku. Very evocative. But they all paint clear pictures.
Thanks for your comments on my Heads or Tails post at Small Reflections this week. I don't see one for you here, but I'm intrigued by the 3 Word Wednesday Haiku challenge ... so perhaps I'll participate because I love writing in Haiku (although I'm not so good at 'writing to a prompt' as a general rule). I enjoyed reading your 'kus ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
We both invoked Lincoln this week in different ways. Interesting.
I enjoy your fibs each week. It's a form that is somehow strangely satisfying.
Excellent responses. Each one is very clever and well written.
very neat. you did a very nice job.
Liked the fib best!
You always let the reader in on a clever thought without having to spell it out. Great work with spare lines, a true gift.
I love Charlie and I enjoyed your haiku/fib. Nostalgic poetry. :)
You always have such interesting topics on these :)
I'm with TC. I loved the fib.
I actually loved the first--dark wonderful humor
All of these are wonderful!
Old theatres and old movies can mesmerise me. Very trippy!
Loved how you gave cameo pictures threaded with just a hint of wryhumour!

All good, but #1 is sort of chilling.
I didn't do a 3WW, but a poem bubbled up today and you're invited:
