Wraiths for Sunday Whirl #96

Thanks, Brenda, for the wordle prompt...

imaginary fiends
scurry under naked roots
hide from fresh candlelight
that births a simple gloom
to frighten through the night

a subtle lack of doors
holds the wraiths inside
those ghoulish faces
imaginary fiends
sent flying by the dawn

I'll stay away from them, scary fiends.

Dark n gloomy..n true! Imaginary fiends do not come at us in daylight. Thank God for that :)
