Poem for Sunday Whirl #95

Thanks, Brenda, for this wordle prompt...

incidents from The Ball

she
courts the rare
leaves open threads
the warp upon a loom

she
bathes
in coral bubbles
from ornamental bottles

she
floats on Prada
dodges the breath of banal
seeks the next dessert

A full life but an empty one. Loved the picture that you painted so well.

She sounds like someone who is accustomed to having it all!

Another Whirl with Yeats

Can get a real sense of her from your poem.

Packed a punch with this one -
I thought of fairy tales until I got to Prada. Hmm. Did Prada ever make glass slippers?

Nicely done!

I know some women like this, Susan. Nice compact use of the words as always.
