E for ABC Wednesday

 A fractal.

Dog days' ennui, low-fueled energy and half-fed excuses create weird addictions.

Ugly pigs and nasty birds have eaten more of my life in the last week than I could possibly have imagined even though I'm aware of having a rather addictive personality. Angry Birds, played for the first time on a granddaughter's iPad, was so much fun that when I learned it could be played free on my computer using the Chrome browser, I flew right to it.

The sun rises, the sun sets.  My chair is always warm and the only concession I've made is to mute the oinking squawking noises. :)

Do you play this crazy game?

Nope, never played the game, as a matter of fact, this is the first time I've heard of it. Have fun.

Guess not, I don't recognize it. Fun post, though.

Hello.
Never played the game. Only learning of it here. At least you're enjoying yourself!

Thanks for sharing.

The word "ennui" makes me think of southern belles sitting on the front porch fanning themselves while sipping minut juleps, wondering where all their beaux are! Nice post!

Epcot's Spaceship Earth, please come and see.

They should pay you a commission for advertising Angry Birds. I too have never heard of it, but I may just go take a look.

I have lots of friends that play it but I'm afraid I will get hooked so I stay away.
The computer takes too much of my time already.
Great words for E, especially ennui.
I'll bet you are the only one using that word today, or any day for that matter!

Sounds to me like you may be having too much fun...haha

Fun post to read!

I've seen Angry Birds, never played it, but thought it looked addictive. The ideal thing when ennui take over. It sure has made a bundle of money for the creators.

It does sound like fun! Although, if that addicting, I'd best stay away from it. Not even a peek. Really. Not peaking. I swear....

I, too, love the word — which doesn't spund like its meaning. It has a rather sophisticated sound. I don't play the bird thing— have never seen it played.

Lovely post, a happy one written by a happy lady.
Had a look at the Magpie too, another brilliant one.
I really like what you do here.

Just heard about angry words from
Whoopi Goldberg. I don't need
any more addictions.

I don't play video games in general, except for Bookworm, which reinforces my connective skills.

I almost had a heart attack playing Ms. PacMan once - it's that intense for me! You'd think a bipolar person would thrive on the rush, but not THIS girl, and in the spirit of the prompt: EEEEEK! Thx, Amy
