Titled for Big Tent Poetry

Big Tent Poetry prompts: (my interpretation) What's in a title and where could it be hiding?

Muse on the Loose

times fall out of favor
ennui springs forward
daily rhythm shifts
in hums of glut or gloom

the north of summer warm
cuddles south of winter
greening west of spring
dries the east of autumn

varietal ink lines
those quartered titles
some are bound by printer
others doze in ponders

running with scissors
scratches byte after byte
the novels' greedy quill
belies a lack of substance

Titles in italics are in print.

Susan, a lovely journey through the
seasons. Using your titles was
very clever. Good luck with your
books.

I agree! Clever and unique take on the prompt.

All of those direction/season pairings give a sense of disjunction and change that the poem reflects well... cleverly done. :)

Your titles are so lyrical. You have so many titles! Wow.

Like the beat of this poem...and the primal use of the seasons.

What a marvelous use of the prompt! I loved the line, "...varietal ink lines..."

Clever and well-thought out!

That mustn't have been an esy one to pull of. I hadn't realised you had several titles behind you.

Thanks.
