Flare for ABC Wednesday

F for ABC Wednesday

Flare of frustration.

I can't be sure that the problems occurring with my Internet connection came from the current solar flare or malfunction of some unfindable byte, bit or thingy on my computer. Frustration flips and flops as my e-mail indicator shouts MAIL and nothing's there, blogs are slow as spring's arrival and frequent cutoffs are the norm of the day. My new 'free month of Netflix' stumbled, burped and failed off and on while I tried to watch Freakonomics.

Did you experience problems with the flare? Or was it just my day to fumble, fumble and re-fumble?

I've had a few problems, but I'm sure they were hardware related. Hope you're sorted out soon.

some folks have been trouble w Blogger recently, but I don't know that it was a function of the flare.

I've had no problems, here in SoCal. Lucky, I guess.

I often am frustrated with the Internet and my computer. Nothing new on my end. :)) I'm sorry you've experienced frustration, though.

Sounds very frustrating. I hope it will be more fun and that your computer issues are fixed.

What a fascinating post! Love your way with words. I had trouble getting into my blogger, but it turned out, they'd switched something or other and I just had to sign in again. Hope your week improves!

Blogger and I have a tendency to not be the best of friends. In fact this morning I had trouble getting on and leaving comments. Who knows, perhaps it was the Flares Fault!

I think we were safe for the solar flare which left us alone.
But you are an artist!

It can be so frustrating when computers don't do what you want. I like the fractal.

No problems here!

I'd forgotten about the flare, they say we might see the northern lights here, no show yet. There is supposed to be a live magnetogram somewhere on the web, as I haven't been able to find it yet I'll look at your picture instead.

I've been having trouble with Blogger, and when my friend calls me on Skype, it cuts out from time to time. Never thought about the solar flare. Must mention it to my friend!

I live so far out in the country that undependable internet is a given. Great photo, very eyecatching.

Now that you mentioned it, yes, I just posted a second ago and had a glitch. Hmmmmm.

Great post about internet frustrations, but I have never blamed them on a solar flare but upon the little men who live in the computer who suddenly make things go wrong, and then suddenly right them again!! I can think of no other explanation....

I've had a few flare-ups of blogger problems, but figured the end is near for my very FULL computer.

Well, yes, as a matter of fact. My Mac has been acting up and it nearly never does. Something I expect from my PC, but not my Mac!
Interesting article. I guess we have more flares to come. Hoo boy!

I haven't noticed anything, but wasn't on all that much. That is a neat image, though.

I was blissfully unaware of this. I detected nothing but the idea *is* a bit disconcerting.

So far, no blips and bleeps, but (knocks wood) things stay okay. Sorry you're having those tech problems. They really byte. ☼

I always seem to have issues leaving comments on Blogger blogs. Maybe they have solar flares of their own! More often I find the Internet moving at a glacial pace, but it's usually because I have every application I own open on the computer. :-P Regardless of the reason, technology is usually FRUSTRATING!
