springtime has been peeking here too. until today the temps had been really nice, mid 60s but today those temps have dropped and we're waiting for another round of snow, sigh. hope all is well. have a great night.

btw, your sketch is beautiful.

Ah, Spring always comes out on top.

Ah am I ready for springtime? YES but I am afraid that if it comes too soon we might have too much damage to tender buds wanting to bloom and then whamo another snow or deep freeze. My two latest Haikus are both related to the flowers I am going to plant for my deck this spring.

I love the painting and your Haiku is perfect.

Yes. Yes. Yes. I feel that. Feel the ache. Say no more. Nevertheless know it's all OK.

This is so vivid... Absolutely love the image of "flurries down the pike." Also, how great is it to use a prompt metaphorically? Bravo!!

Isn't it nice, Sue, that the birds let us know when spring is here! Even when the weather doesn't seem like it.

Your bird sketch is wonderful!

I am completely ready for spring. This poem made me think of ascending and descending from the top - the spring signs climbing up while winter moves down the slope. I can't wait to see the birds fly here.

Just right at this time of sustained grimness!

I love your poem on springtime. We've had a sneak peek of spring but today winter returned. Reading your poem certainly is warm and inviting.

Yes, indeed. Let's hope that's all the flurries do!
