Your picture is a poem to itself.
And I love those 'dazzling leaves' with their 'quilting' efforts.
We had three days of autumn last week.
Today summer mid 90's, then a little, just a little of autumn.
Our Houston area winters are fall but we only have a few days of true autumn like we know it to be then comes the fall.
In the fall our leaves turn red and yellow, but that will be in the wetter November. So the leaves don't blow and quilt, they only fall to the ground under the trees with their wet weight pulling them down.
