NaisaiKu for 3WordWednesday

ThomG, moderator of Three Word Wednesday, offers the following three words as prompt: fickle, sparkle, wrinkle

fickle deck of life
wild cards sparkle, beg wagers
wrinkles line crow’s feet
crone shrugs away old lessons
wrinkles line crow’s feet
wild cards sparkle, beg wagers
fickle deck of life

The image is a watercolor created on Bamboo Fun with Adobe Photoshop Elements.

Ah, yes, the fickle deck of life. I've been dealing a lot, lately, off this particular deck. Thanks for this.

Love Thom G's response and I have to agree. Life is definitely fickle. Great naisaiku.

I love this. I often think about the fickle deck of life and the lessons we learn as we grow older.

Great job!

One wonders which old lessons the crone is choosing to ignore.

Does this have a title? If not, I recommend "double or nothing." Unless I'm misunderstanding it.

I am coming more and more to understand and enjoy your particular poetic form.

There were several wonderful lines in this piece. And much to think about.

I love that "watercolor"! Amazing what you can do with photoshop.

NaiasaiKu...I love haiku, and create it often for a blog post (not terribly well, but I have fun trying). I'll have to try my hand at this. It will probably be my undoing as just 3 lines of a haiku are hard enough!
Your NaiasaiKu is wonderful. I can imagine the old woman (in my mind at least).
