loved the haikus !! makes me want to try this next time :)
'Mourning of blue rain' - aaah, what a line. A supple, subtle image. Too lovely!!
both;
lovely
it could certainly be mourning or morning!
I liked the first best, but both great.
love the "mourning of blue rain"..
Like the others I love the subtlety of the phrase "mourning of blue rain"!
Love the first one, but the second puts a stronger image in my head.
I thought of the blue poppies grown up in the PNW when I the first.
Sue, I believe blue rain is the best for mourning. I always remember the dying scene of will Hemmingway's 'Farewell to Arms' movie. I am sure that dreary non-ending rain was blue.
..
A lovely piece of poem.... I loved your soothing and picturesque words..
Your watercolor is gorgeous. I think of summer mourning as a moment of realizing things are not new and young anymore.
Oh these are so beautiful Sue. Loved the haiku poems and your watercolor, perfection!
Hugs, G
spring essence fills one with wonder!
I do really enjoy your watercolors. Thanks for sharing this one along with the poems which mirror the painting very nicely.
oh yes, the essence of spring! lovely kus :-)
love the first poem and what a wonderful watercolor
Your first haiku is my favorite as it allows a picture to form of grieving in the rain.
I love these- so peaceful... especially "mourning of blue rain"
Your watercolor is gorgeous!
Very soft colour. Very peaceful.
I believe I recognize those moments of which you write so eloquently. Thank you for their reminder.
