Powerful poetry!! Great words there...
I will never look at vapor trails the same way.
Your poetic observations are wonderful.
I enjoyed these--especially the way one extends the other.
Great poetry and artwork. Your art looks like something the Japanese would draw.
each poem captures essential aspects of life. Your perceptions touch me.
Three constructions here, I think with reversals.
First, the last line, acid rain--large amount--ends--very small--upon assimilation;
next last line, pebble--just one--expands--rings--upon assimilation;
then a few--vapor trails--enlarge--into spider nets--upon assimilation.
They also all differ at least three ways, in subject, action, and in process.
Fun!
..
Love all of them.
I love the inclusion of one pebble absorbed in concentrics.
All three were haikus unto themselves but yet they chose to flow wonderfully from one to the next.
The acid rain one is my favorite.
what ever happened to all the talk about acid rain????
These triplets fit perfectly together in my mind. Each unique yet expounding on the ripple effect. Brevity with such depth.
This reminds me immediately of the water cycle. But the variable of "acid rain" seems to weight and prickle the meaning of "vapor trails". Very interesting!
I really like these (the second one in particular) and the drawing.
What beautiful verse!
sultry days of summer
..to my mind these 'poetic' words are a good example of how ' treatment ' and 'thought ' are not easy to copy ..
many thanks for this ..
Great poems- you captured the prompt well- I like the first one the best. Gorgeous picture!
