I can see both of these images in my mind's eye.
And, I do love the way you make art.
Hi Sue, your first haiku and the fractual remind me of the Moscow Subway stations. They are beautiful in an elegant manner.
I have posted a few pictures of them on my Little Blog. If you'd like you can paste these links:

Now I don't wish to slight your second 'haiku.' It is personal and connects with my soul in a special touching way.
..
I can identify with the second poem. Almost too much. Thanks.
Storms are keeping me inside today. I do love rainy days so I can come visit!
Thank you.
Sherry
Your fractal is exquisite and the haiku excellent. But, then your writing is always on a level of greatness.
Lovely. Simply brilliant...
I so enjoy the unique way you express your perceptions and feelings. Thank you.
Very cool art too!
brilliant perspectives in the haikus!
sounds so abstract the way you put the words together
buttress - that's an odd sounding word, kind of make it seem almost fun even when it's not
Beautiful pair - the second one is soul-simple.
Some superb, memorable images -- those "cliffs of quartz" dazzle the minds eye, and the "protective buttress" looms dark and solid!
Some great images in this one.
I love the sanctity of them both.
thank you.
Both are beautiful- I love the line "cliffs of quartz", but the second one really resonates with me on a personal level. Thanks for sharing~
That first one is dynamite. Such brevity and clarity both.
That's looks really pretty.
.. eloquent & sensitive ..
Especially like the second haiku. A lot of punch there is so few words.
re: motorcycles - it's amazing how many of us remember loving the feel and freedom of riding when WE were young and not whating our kids to have the same experience. With age comes knowledgable caution and restraint. I agree with you. Alas, the kids do it anyway.
Ola--
Both the transpersonal and the personal are delicious here--
Thank you.
Very clever and unexpected.
