As long as there's no bump at the bottom! :)

Haven't been on one but have watched and seen pictures, and the sped does frighten me!! We have no snow here at all!! Just warm sunny days and rain.

Why does time speed up so on the second half?

Dear TW: Is this amazing Haiku similar to the end of sled-cylce quickening? "down the other side" of life? "The other side" gives me reason to conjecture and reflect meditatively on this simple complex problem! Paradoxical! So Then it is slippery too and definitely "light speed" all down hill. Hopefully God-speed when the time comes! Lovly abstract symbolism; very illuminating your gifted poetry!

Time does seem to be passing at the speed of light but the wonderful ride down is full of fun.

I liked your words, it this about aging? When you speak of the "older side"?

Loved this, I am amazed how much it said about life in so few words

Somehow the trek to the top didn't forewarn of the speed of the slide downhill - it's a shock to realise one's age, sometimes.

This is what I aspire to some day convey.

Simple, but with so much meaning. : )

P.S. I hope 'aspire' is a word. : ( I'm feeling very Palin-like right now.

So much in three lines - excellent! Speed of light and we know how that is. Very, very fast!

Oh yes I have traveled that speed of light on a sled before (it d1idn't go well!) Brought back memories

"the lazy days of summer" as a child seemed to last forever. All too often my days (or should I say months) just wiz on by and I it is very hard to find a day that just seems to linger ... So, a hiku is 3,5, 3? I will have to look it up and give it a whirl myself.

Yes, I agree with Tess, why does time go by so much faster as we grow older?! Great magpie!
