i am thinking of skipping the prompt as it is too difficult i feel..lets see..
you are GOOD with photoshop element..good job!
Excellent haiku - though I think I now need a glass of water :-)
Great series. I loved the third one best.
feasting in that crescent-shaped cove
The first one fits here today.
All three, perfect.
I read these and I see and smell and taste summer. The image of the birch....makes me think of how the birch is the first in leaf in the spring and the first to begin stepping out about now, when I realize just how hot it is.
Words and fractal beautiful, as always. Makes me want to seek solace in nature today. Have a great Monday~
These were luscious! The second one especially spoke to me...I loved your words "drifting dust dry-paints pine needles". Beautiful! The image is also very striking.
Beautiful, vivid imagery.. the silence you paint speaks out loud..
i like em all but i feel and imagine myself on the third set....gleefully enjoying the greens and staring at the wide lue sky
Lovely haiku! I especially like the second one because of this line:
"dry-paints pine needles"
These were great- I liked the first one the best~ loved the line "ankle deep in summer's white heat"...beautiful image as well~
Very nice Sue, I too like those silent birches. And in the winter you can see the forest where the trees were all summer long!
Also you are telling us of your Southwest experience, I've been there but didn't stay. This is another visit. Thank you.
..
"ankle deep / in summer's white heat": I love it!
The image is really cool-lookin' too, fits all of these really well.
how beautifully you paint the heavy arid heat of high summer!
