Haiku for One Single Impression

One Single Impression posts: Thanks to Sweetest in the Gale (formerly Fledgling Poet) for this week's prompt, ocean. Feel free to follow the links and play along and/or to read some fine writings.

emotive tides
unbound by monthly moon
re-write the shore

*

swirling blues
rock seaweed to and fro
Gaia's cradle

Image was created on Bamboo Fun Tablet with Adobe Photoshop Elements, resized and buttoned in Irfanview.

My poetry books North of Summer and South of Winter are currently available at Amazon and, as always, available from my LuluBookstore in print or as download.

I like this much
Chaos and Eros I know
Gaia here I learned

mother of the earth
Gaia and Uranus sire
offspring so many
..
I will let these and the others rest:
Chaos, Aether, Gaia, Uranus,
Hemera, Chronos, Eros, Erebus,
Nyx, Ophion, Tartarus, and Phanes.

"Simple Simon went a-fishing
For to catch a whale;
All the water he could find
Was in his mother's pail!"
This is me and Greek mythology.

My mom's pail is mostly Wikipedia.

Thanks, I wish I would read a book a day like you do.
..
Gaia, Wikipedia Greek mythology reference

Amazing and wonderful. Gaia's cradle is a wonderful image--a strong and beautiful, intuitive and subtle beauty.
