you always had a way with words and references to nature's always delightful to read
I really like the second one with the picture.
Hope you're well. :)
I love the Daisy haiku.
I confess - I always cheated to make sure I always got 'he loves me', but he didn't love me enough.
Nicely done, Sue!
These are delightful, Sue. I particularly enjoyed the second. I can just see it!
I just truly like all of these. That last one I can really relate to! thanks for the tiny portraits.
I wonder what dance the Bear Grass does with the lupine-- something slow or something quick. Very nice haikus.
~~~loves me, loves me not-perhaps the banks that hold the rivers of poetry..ur post as always,underplayed and thoughtful..many thanks..
Your haiku are good, Sue. I love coming here!
I like both of your poems - very creative! Lovely images to come away with - I have seen the grasses and flowers dancing, too.
hello... that a daisy could bring us such joy...i can imagine each pluck the petal sez.. ouch, ouch, ouch.. or.. maybe, maybe not...
I like the poem about the daisy. It has its own little yolk colored face, doesn't it! And you've pulled of its bonnet! Did you discover who loves you? I can see the lupine and bear grass waltzing too! May I join in?
The second is my favorite, I think, but I do like the idea of the daisy's face being a yolk. Your haiku are lovely delicate blossoms.
They are both good, but that second one really hits me.
Lovely words with that lovely nature photo.
I love the egg yolk and daisy comparison! Lovely.
Both are wonderful! My favorite is the daisy, my mothers favorite flower. I love how you used the prompt here. Very creative!
I was struck by your self-portrait drawing icon - lovely. Like this poem and photograph.
