Lizard and Lavender

Totally Optional Prompts offers 'as a flower'...

her lavender stalk bends
under a late spring breeze

a blue-tail lizard, sans tail,
darts over her rootbound feet

flashes a shortened frame
under freshly fallen leaves

a wisp of blue
can restore tail thin as a reed

~~without replacements
she cultivates a new envy

Lovely watercolor, and poem too. I like the intimate moment, so close the the earth, with roots, lizzards, and bright colors.

I see many small lizards and gecko's running around without tail, or with other bits 'missing'. No lavenders though in my area.
