Thanks to Loch Rob of A Small Look Inside for this week's prompt, departed.
gold and sienna
lifted away like geese v's
winter's nude branches
skins abandoned
boxes collect her blunders
skeleton keys
in late hours
mistakes moisten her eyes
tide sweeps the sand

very nice......I like specially "tide sweeps the sand"....
These are each so different and so good. That last one is so right on that on target just isn't close enough.
The last one struck a cord with me this week. The night will do that to us sometimes.
Nicely done. Good imagery in your writing too.
Good imagery in this writing. I enjoyed your haiku piece very much.
I love the way you've animated the changes here.
.. they are all on target ..
that's why they are good ..
the drama of the second one impacts ..
'late hours, mistakes moisten the eyes'....it always do...
very nostalgic rendition of the prompt, truly departed!
good morning...:)
Gold and sienna... what could be finer than that? I love this visual, especially in reference to lifing and flying free...
Beautiful!
That second one I feel through to the bone. It is a truth to face.
The fractal and the geese V's go together well.
As usual lovely
"skins abandoned
boxes collect her blunders
skeleton keys"
Familiar feelings...
I enjoyed this piece very much!
three very lovely haiku - but the last was my favorite - "mistakes moisten her eyes" says so much with so few words.
Sue, I like your last one best.
No, that tide and its lapping waves can't be stopped, no more than can be those tears.
This is very touching.
..
I have great admiration for people who write poetry. I have to teach my young students, and they find it hard if they have to stick ti the rules.
Like them all, but the last one...ooohhh, can really feel that departure.
Thank you, dear heart!
These are all great--really liked the last one, could feel it all the way down...
Many thanks!
loved them all, but my favorite is the first. As much as I love the leaves, I also find the beauty in the bare branches as well.
My fav is your first haiku but I enjoyed all of them. The artwork, superb as usual.
Hugs, G
