Hi Sue, I love your rising thirst. We are rising, rising, rising. Rising for the drink.

Your fractal reminds me of a stream (I suppose that is what you wanted me to see?) with a few bubbles. Those bubbles reminded me of the baby who gets too much air from the bottle nipple and needs to be burped really bad.

Guess I have babies on my mind.

Excelent post, I love this combination of a haiku, which is a very nice one. And a fractal you made with the same program I used several times. I also tend to program those myself, I use python language for doing that. What gets complicated is the formula, for example for the mandelbrot you had to deal with imaginary numbers to be able to draw it, and also to navigate inside it.
